Hello!

We created a 12-hour clock that displayed hours, minutes, and seconds on a 7-segment display for this project. Decade counters, BCD to 7-segment decoders, logic gates, and flip-flops are the basic components we used. The project aims for a frequency of 1Hz to ensure accurate timekeeping. The following are some of the project's primary features: A large Display: The clock features a huge 7-segment display that is simple to read even from a distance of up to 100 meters. A power Source: Able to run on mains power, ensuring stability and dependability. User Adjustability: As needed, users can adjust the time to represent exact timing. LED Indication: Every 15 minutes, an LED illuminates for 3 seconds, offering a visual indicator. The clock is meant to display time in a 12-hour format, distinguishing between AM and PM. To provide the needed functionality, the design employs different integrated circuits such as D flip-flops, NOT gates, AND gates, BCD to 7-segment decoders, and counters. To ensure appropriate circuit performance, the project may also incorporate resistors, capacitors, diodes, and a voltage regulator. The clock uses a D flip-flop to determine whether it is AM or PM, and the entire system is represented by schematics and PCB designs. To make a functional 12-hour clock, this project combines digital electronics concepts with practical circuit implementation.
