2D and 3D PCB Models
Project Description
Our project, the design and simulation of a digital clock, focuses on creating a timekeeping system with decade counter Integrated Circuits (ICs).
With the aim to ensure that the process is as precise as possible,
simulations were undertaken using Logisim Evolution whilst PCB designs were created using EasyEDA.
The objective of the project was to design and implement a mechanism that could counter seconds over time and thus,
display current time in the form of minutes and hours.
The project utilises six (6) 7-segment digit displays, each driven by decade counters.
This enabled the system to display hours, minutes, and hours individually and accurately.
To have a smooth PCB design process, the created schematics were transitioned and used in EasyEDA.
